Design Competition Part 2- Final

Here is my final piece for the Derwent Art Prize 2013.

 

This competition's deadline is July 1, 2013.

 

I created many different drawings using pencil, and I decided that this one would be my final piece because the butterfly looks like it can pop off the page and I like how the symmetry in the wings came out.

 

This competition was to use only pencil for the piece, (water -soluble, graphite, pastel, color pencil or charcoal).

Design Competition Part 1

For the Design Competition, I would enter the Derwent Art Prize 2013. This competition is open to anyone and the guild lines are that you must submit works using only pencil. Here are a few sketches I've done that I would enter into the competition, you can enter a total of 6 drawings into the competition.
